Homestay Overview

MEAC understands that sometimes people would like to contribute to our cause, but are unable to volunteer, sponsor or likewise. We understand that sometimes people visiting Kenya have a limited amount of time.

So we have developed a program that helps to promote our cause, and sustain development in our community. It also spreads our message by educating visitors about Maasai Culture.

This is our Maasai Homestay Program.

We offer visitors to Kenya the opportunity to spend a night or two (or more) in a traditional Maasai manyatta (compound), and to live like the Maasai. We prepare Maasai meals, and offer a wide range of Maasai cultural excursions and activities to ensure that all guests can focus their attention on the aspects of Maasai culture that most interest them. Please browse through our information on the left to see how a Maasai homestay could enrich your time in Kenya.

"MEAC is so proud to be a community based project. Our greatest asset is definitely knowing the people we are helping, and a passion that comes naturally from knowing we are helping our friends, neighbours, families and tribe."
